Oil Pastel "Painting" Class Supplies:

Surfaces: Here are my suggestions

• Hardboard Panels such as Speedball Gessoed Hardboard Panels from Dick Blick art company, or smooth gessoed wood board of your choice.

Choose one in sizes 11" x 14" up to 16" x 20" or size of your choice.

and/or

• Canvas Paper/ Pad of your choice (usually 10 sheets per pad) , These can latter be stabilized on a board or surface. My recommendations are:

Fredrix Canvas Pads: primed and ready Size: 11" x 14" -16" x 20"

Other Canvas Pad of your choice

Here are suggestions for quality pastels in beginner size sets.

• Portfolio Oil Pastels: Set of 12 or 24
